SRPD News Release: Search Warrant Leads to Child Endangerment, Narcotics, and Weapons Violations

Search Warrant Leads to Child Endangerment, Narcotics, and Weapons Violations

In January 2026, detectives from the Santa Rosa Police Department Narcotics Team began an investigation into a local drug trafficking organization (DTO) who were distributing fentanyl pills and cocaine in Santa Rosa and its surrounding areas. Detectives identified 29-year-old Windsor resident, Simione Dominiko, as being involved in this DTO.

On 3/18/26, at approximately 1408 hours, detectives detained Simione while he drove his vehicle on Barnes Rd, Santa Rosa. Detectives searched Simione’s vehicle, pursuant to a search warrant, and located approximately 120 suspected fentanyl pills in the vehicle. Detectives also detained 29-year-old Santa Rosa resident, Levani Dominiko, after he left in his vehicle from the 8900 block of Oakfield Ln, Windsor. Detectives found promethazine/codeine syrup in Levani’s vehicle.

Detectives then executed the service of a search warrant in the 8900 block of Oakfield Ln, Windsor. Detectives contacted 30-year-old Santa Rosa resident, Jonathan Armijo, and learned he had an outstanding warrant for his arrest out of Sonoma County. Detectives searched the residence, pursuant to a search warrant, and located approximately 9 ounces of suspected cocaine, approximately 150 suspected fentanyl pills, and three firearms, which were reported stolen out of Napa County. Additionally, detectives located approximately $10,000.00 in US currency.

There are two young children that live with Simione and had access to the suspected fentanyl pills and cocaine. If a young child accidentally ingested suspected fentanyl and/or cocaine, it would likely result in great bodily injury or death. CPS was notified and the children were picked up from the scene by a family member.

Simione was arrested and booked into the Sonoma County jail for the following violations:

  • 11351 H&S – Possession of a Narcotic for Sale.
  • 11352 H&S – Transportation of a Narcotic for Sale.
  • 273a(a) PC – Child Endangerment.

  • 496(a) PC – Possession of the stolen firearms.
  • 29800(a)(1) PC – Felon in Possession of a Firearm.
  • 30305(a)(1) PC – Felon in Possession of Ammunition.
