Solo-Vehicle Collision Into Building's Exterior Wall
On February 18, 2026, at approximately 4:15 p.m., officers with the Santa Rosa Police Department (SRPD) responded to a solo-vehicle collision at Round Table Pizza located at 550 Montecito Center. It was reported that a grey Lexus RX350 had driven into the establishment. Officers arrived on scene and determined that the vehicle had collided with the exterior of the building and breached the outer wall, causing minor structural damage, but did not fully enter the interior space.
The driver, an adult male resident of Santa Rosa, sustained minor injuries during the collision and was transported by ambulance to an area hospital for additional medical treatment. No pedestrians or patrons of the restaurant were injured.
An Accident Investigator with the SRPD Traffic Team responded to the scene and assumed the investigation. At this time, it is an ongoing investigation, and the cause has not yet been determined.
In light of recent incidents, the Santa Rosa Police Department will be increasing focused traffic‑enforcement efforts in the area to help enhance roadway safety for everyone. We remind all drivers to remain attentive, reduce speed, and exercise caution, especially in busy corridors and near businesses. Safe driving saves lives, and together we can help keep our community protected.
