SRPD News Release: Search Warrant Leads to Firearms Seizure

Search Warrant Leads to Firearms Seizure

In December 2025, the Santa Rosa Police Department’s Narcotics Team began an investigation into a person distributing cocaine in Santa Rosa and its surrounding areas. Detectives identified 29-year-old Santa Rosa resident, Jose Garcia-Gutierrez, as the person involved in the cocaine trafficking.

On 2/4/26, at approximately 0740 hours, detectives executed the service of a search warrant in the 2400 block of Stephanie Ct East, 2200 block of Campbell Dr, and 600 block of Palomino Dr, Santa Rosa. Detectives searched the aforementioned locations and located twelve firearms, hundreds of rounds of ammunition, suspected cocaine, digital scales, packaging materials, and pay/owe sheets. Drug dealers utilize pay/owe sheets to document customers who owe them money, who they (dealers) owe money to, and amounts of drugs sold and/or obtained.

Nobody was arrested at this time as a result of this operation and this is an ongoing investigation.
