Suspects Arrested After Attempted Robbery and Pursuit
On November 23, 2025, at approximately 1:14 p.m., Santa Rosa Police Department officers responded to a report of suspicious circumstances involving a vehicle following another in the area of Fulton Road and Occidental Road. The reporting party stated the suspect vehicle was occupied by multiple individuals and at least one was armed with a handgun.
An officer located the suspect vehicle in southwest Santa Rosa and attempted a traffic stop. The vehicle failed to yield, and a short pursuit ensued at moderate speeds through city streets. The suspect vehicle eventually came to a stop in a residential neighborhood.
As the vehicle stopped, a passenger exited while holding a semi-automatic handgun equipped with an extended magazine loaded with 23 rounds. Responding officers quickly detained that individual nearby and recovered the firearm. A high-risk stop was conducted on the suspect vehicle, and the remaining occupants were detained without incident.
The investigation revealed the suspects in the vehicle had attempted to rob the victim they were following. All suspects were arrested on multiple felony charges, including attempted robbery, conspiracy, gang-related offenses, and weapons violations.
The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information related to this incident is encouraged to contact the Santa Rosa Police Department Gang Crimes Team.
