Lebanon, NH Rte 120 Pavement Markings – REMINDER, Thursday, 10/8, 9 AM to 2 PM

The City of Lebanon would like to remind the public that L&D, a contractor for the New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT), will return to NH Route 120 (Hanover Street through the I-89 Exit 18 interchange, north toward Hanover, NH) on Thursday October 8 to install permanent stop bars, crosswalks, directional arrows, and “ONLY” markings in the turn lanes.  This work will take place during daytime hours between 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM.  Due to fall weather and cooler temperatures, the installation may require several days to complete.

As the work progresses, L&D will temporarily close each turn lane while markings are installed.  Once the work in a lane is completed, it will be reopened before they move on to the next lane.

During this project, drivers should expect longer than normal wait times and potential traffic backups, which may result in additional congestion in the area.  Road users are urged to remain alert, exercise caution when traveling through the work zone, and follow all posted signage.

Please note that this is not a City of Lebanon project.  For questions or concerns, please contact the NHDOT District 2 Office at 603-448-2654.

Thank you for your patience as NHDOT works to complete this important roadway improvement.
