On Tuesday, May 26, 2026 through Wednesday, May 27, 2026, between the hours of 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, the City of Lebanon, NH will be flushing water mains (weather permitting) through hydrants. 

On Tuesday, May 26, one crew will complete flushing water mains through hydrants in the following locations:

• Bliss St.
• Cameron Ave.
• Child St.
• Clark St.
• Colburn St.
• Downes Ave.
• Ela St.
• Eldridge St.
• Fairview Ave.
• Granite St.
• Guyer St.
• Hanover St.
• High St.
• Hough St.
• Light St.
• Mascoma St.
• Mascoma Village Apts.
• Mason St.
• Summer St.
• West St.
• Wheatly St.
• Williams St.
• Winter St.
• Worthen St.
• Young St.

Crews will also begin and complete flushing water mains through hydrants on Tuesday, May 26 and Wednesday, May 27 in the following additional locations:

When the City is “flushing” the water lines you may see a fire hydrant wide open allowing water to flow down the street. This process moves water through the pipelines at a fast-enough rate to clean the lines, clear stagnant water, and ensure the water the City delivers to your home is of the highest quality. Residents and businesses in the general flushing area(s) should check their water before using it. If the water is discolored or dirty, let the cold-water taps run for a few minutes and the water should clear up.
