Traffic signal to be temporarily shut down Sept. 2 at Manitou Avenue and U.S. 24

The traffic signal at the intersection of Manitou Avenue and U.S. Highway 24 will be shut down Tuesday, Sept. 2, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will manage traffic during this time to allow crews to complete final electrical work for the Dillon Mobility Hub’s restroom and office rehabilitation project.

No detours or closures are planned, though drivers should anticipate slower traffic through the area. Motorists, cyclists, and pedestrians are urged to use caution while traveling through the intersection.

The City of Manitou Springs thanks the community for their patience and cooperation as this important work is completed.
