Death Investigation at Jaycee Park

(Kirksville, MO) - On Friday, July 24, 2026, at 7:15 am, Kirksville Police, Kirksville Fire and Adair County Ambulance responded to Jaycee Park at 1115 North Osteopathy in reference to a male subject on the ground.  The male was found to be deceased.  He is identified only as a 59-year-old resident of Kirksville.  Kirksville Police are conducting a death investigation but no criminal activity is suspect at this time.  Kirksville Police advise there is no ongoing threat to the public related to this death investigation.
