Horseshoe Bay: Ongoing Repairs for Hi Circle West Sinkhole
Hi Circle West Repairs Update
Due to excessive rot in the galvanized drainage pipe under Hi Circle West, the determination was made to replace the two culverts with reinforced concrete pipes. This will be an extensive project due to the conditions as well as the need to deal with existing utilities, with an estimated timeline of approximately three weeks for repairs.
The City has made the decision to keep that section of the road closed for the duration of the project to protect the water and sewer lines and out of concern for the safety of residents. With the rain forecasted throughout the next week, this is the safest option for our residents as well as for the city’s vital infrastructure.
