Thank you for your continued interest in the future of the former Crescent View Middle School property.

The Mayor and City Council have made it a priority to keep the community informed and involved throughout this process. Residents have had opportunities to participate through two public open houses and a community survey. Information has also been shared through the project website, City communications, and multiple City Council meetings. At the August 4, 2026, City Council meeting, the Council discussed several options for the property and potential funding scenarios. The Council will vote at its August 11 meeting on whether to place a bond question on the November ballot and, if so, the amount of the proposed bond.

To help residents better understand the decision before the Council, Mayor Monica Zoltanski has recorded a video explaining her recommendation for the proposed bond amount and the reasons behind it. The City Council has also recorded a video outlining the options they are considering ahead of their August 11 decision. Both videos are included below.
