Get ready for a colorful weekend in the sky! Sandy City’s 19th Annual Hot Air Balloon Festival returns Friday and Saturday, August 7–8, with free activities and unforgettable fun for the whole family.

Start your day on Friday and Saturday morning at Storm Mountain Park, where vibrant hot air balloons will launch. Enjoy food trucks and music while you watch the sky come alive. *

Then, join us Saturday evening from 7–10:30 p.m. at the City Promenade for an action-packed celebration featuring face painting, balloon creations, photo opportunities, food trucks, Utah Mammoth Street Hockey, a live DJ, bounce houses, and a spectacular drone show! *

Morning Balloon Launches
Date: Friday and Saturday, August 7–8
Time: Sunrise, approximately 6:30 a.m.
Location: Storm Mountain Park (980 E. 11400 S.)

Saturday Evening Celebration
Date: Saturday, August 8
Time: 7–10:30 p.m.
Location: City Promenade (10000 S. Centennial Pkwy.)

Admission is FREE. Please leave personal drones and dogs at home. Smoking and vaping are not permitted, and bicycles and scooters must be walked through the event area.
