Community Notification - Whitman Food Pantry
This is a community notification from the Town of Whitman.
The National Association of Letter Carriers NALC will conduct its annual national food drive on Saturday, May 9th.
The need has never been greater, and timing is important with food pantries running low on donations from the winter holidays and with summer approaching when most school meal programs will not be available.
On Saturday, May 9th the letter carriers, girl scouts and food pantry volunteers will be collecting non-perishable donations for the Whitman Food Pantry. To participate, simply leave your donation in a bag next to your mailbox or on your front porch by 8am and it will be picked up and delivered to the pantry.
