This Mayor Scaffide with a construction update. Although summer is ending the road construction season in Twinsburg is not. Here are a couple of updates. 

As progress with our Liberty Road Multipurpose Trail progresses, the northbound lane of traffic will need to be closed between Neille Lane and Post Road.  The closure is expected to be in place starting the morning of Monday 9/14/2026, and be completed by end of day on Friday 9/18/2026.  

Detour signs will be posted at Liberty Road/Cannon Road directing detoured traffic to Darrow Road northbound and returning to Liberty Road via Post Road.  Southbound traffic on Liberty Road will not be affected.

Also on Monday September 14, work will begin on our Glenwood Drive Resurfacing Project.  This work will occur on Glenwood Drive between Ravenna Road and Darrow Road.  Work will begin with localized concrete repair items and progress to pavement milling and resurfacing the entire road.  No road closures are expected during this project, however flaggers will be onsite to direct traffic around active work areas which may result in delays.
