From the Cape Cod National Seashore Chief Ranger/Orleans Fire-Rescue:

Cape Cod National Seashore is conducting a prescribed fire on Wednesday March 12th at Fort Hill in Eastham.

Based on current wind direction forecasts, it is possible that smoke may blow towards Freeman Lane and the area of Snow Point. Fire personnel will strive to keep smoke at a minimum. Ignition will be after 9 a.m. and dependent on conditions.
