The Main Street Accessibility Project kicks off again today with work taking place on Colorado Avenue at the Fir Street Intersection (South side) and the Aspen Street Intersection (North side). Materials staging will remain on North Fir Street. 

Pedestrian traffic will be rerouted around worksites out onto Colorado Ave with barricade protection. Vehicular traffic patterns will shift on Colorado around the pedestrian walkways and worksites. Detours are in place to direct traffic around road closures at N Aspen, N Fir, and S Fir off Colorado. Please use caution when driving through the area. 

Work Hours
Construction will occur Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Weekend work is not currently planned, but it may be scheduled if necessary to maintain the timeline.

Business Access Maintained
All businesses on Main Street will remain open during construction. To reduce impacts:

• Pedestrian access to storefronts will be maintained at all times.
• Clear signage and detour routes will guide foot traffic safely around work zones.
• Contractors will provide door-to-door notices to impacted businesses prior to work at each intersection.
