Community Invited to Wheaton Block Party Sept. 26
Get ready for an afternoon of community fun at the Wheaton Block Party from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, September 26, at Memorial Park (225 Karlskoga Ave). Hosted by the City of Wheaton Community Relations Commission, this free, family-friendly community-wide block party brings together residents, businesses, City services and community organizations to celebrate all that makes Wheaton a great place to call home.
Enjoy activities and entertainment including:
- Carnival games and activities for kids
- Live music and entertainment
- Face painting and balloon art
- Children's train rides
- Petting zoo
- Opportunities to meet City representatives
- Wheaton history and community activities
- Food and treats available for purchase
- And more!
Parking for this event will be available in the City Hall parking lot off of Wheaton Avenue, the Wheaton Place Garage, and on-street parking in the surrounding area. Please do not park in private lots.
