City of Wheaton, IL
Community Invited to September 11 Remembrance Ceremony

The City of Wheaton invites you to attend Wheaton’s September 11 Remembrance Ceremony at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 11 in the Memorial Park bandshell, 225 Karlskoga Ave. This year will mark 25 years since the Sept. 11 attacks, and the ceremony will honor the individuals our community lost on Sept. 11, 2001 and the military conflicts that followed. It will also honor all those who serve to protect our community and our nation, including the Wheaton Police and Fire Departments and all military personnel.
Ceremony participants will include Wheaton Mayor Philip Suess; the Wheaton Police and Fire Department and Honor Guard; local musicians and community leaders. The ceremony is being hosted in partnership with the Wheaton Park District. We invite the community to come together in remembering all those we lost and honoring those who dedicate their lives to protecting our community and our nation.
