Flood Warning issued March 5 at 2:18AM EST until March 5 at 8:00AM EST by NWS Wilmington OH

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...The following counties, in east central Indiana, Fayette
and Union. In southeast Indiana, Franklin.

* WHEN...Until 800 AM EST.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads
remain closed due to flooding. Low-water crossings are inundated
with water and may not be passable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 218 AM EST, local law enforcement reported flooding in the
warned area. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen.
Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible.
- Some locations that may experience flooding include...
Brookville, West College Corner, Oldenburg, Lake Santee,
Blooming Grove, Columbia, Metamora, Laurel, Everton, Alpine,
Peppertown, Nulltown, Mounds State Recreation Area, Buena
Vista, Hamburg, Andersonville, Billingsville, Charlottesville
and Mixersville.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
