Fire crews have been able to contain and control a large grass fire that burned over 80 acres of open space south of 109th Avenue and east of Radisson Road. At this time the fire is under control and all roadways in the area have been re-opened.

DNR fire crews will remain in the area for several hours monitoring for hot spots and furthering control efforts. 

No structures were damaged in the fire and no injuries have been reported.
