Southwestern Walton County in north central Georgia...
Northern Newton County in north central Georgia...

* Until 1145 PM EDT.

* At 1119 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Gum Creek,
or 7 miles north of Covington, moving south at 5 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
Conyers, Covington, Oxford, Porterdale, Walnut Grove, Jersey,
Georgia International Horse Park, Almon, Gum Creek, and Big Haynes
Creek Park.
