...The National Weather Service in Buffalo NY has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in New York...

Buffalo Creek at Gardenville affecting Erie and Wyoming Counties.

For the Buffalo Creek...including Gardenville...Moderate flooding is
forecast.

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Buffalo Creek at Gardenville.

* WHEN...Until Wednesday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 8.0 feet, Moderate flood, flooding is likely along
low lying areas near the Buffalo Creek, especially near Collins
Avenue, Elma Town Park, and in some sections of Elma Village north
of the Bowen Road bridge.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:15 PM EDT Tuesday the stage was 6.57 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 7.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late this evening to a crest of 8.6 feet tomorrow morning. It
will then fall below flood stage early tomorrow afternoon.
- Flood stage is 7.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
8.5 feet on 09/29/1967.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
