The Village of Ruidoso Emergency Operation Center has moved to Level III- Increased Readiness. 

Hazard: Storm development  

Effective immediately, the Village of Ruidoso is operating at VEOC Level 3 – Increased Readiness (Enhanced Awareness Alert).

Conditions indicate a potential threat to the Village that requires enhanced monitoring, coordination, and preparedness activities for the identified hazard. Departments should maintain situational awareness, review staffing and operational readiness, and prepare for possible changes in conditions.

Normal departmental operations should continue at this time. The Village Emergency Operations Center (VEOC) will be staffed by Office of Emergency Management personnel and will actively monitor conditions, coordinate with partner agencies, and facilitate information sharing across the organization. The VEOC may activate additional functions as needed to support operations.

Departments are requested to review resource availability, identify any unmet needs, and report significant operational concerns via established channels.
