Description
* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall will be
possible.
* WHERE...A portion of central New Mexico, including the following
area, South Central Mountains. This includes the Ruidoso area burn
scars, South Fork, Salt, Blue 2, and McBride burn scars.
* WHEN...From noon MDT today through late tonight.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Rounds of showers with a slow-moving thunderstorm or two
producing localized heavy rainfall rates near or over 1 inch
per hour may lead to burn scar flash flooding.
