Description

* WHAT...Sub-freezing temperatures expected as low as:
Friday 20 to 25 degrees,
Saturday 15 to 20 degrees.

* WHERE...Eastern Cochise County below 5000 feet, Upper Gila River
Valley, and Upper San Pedro River Valley.

* WHEN...From midnight tonight to 9 AM MST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Frost and hard freeze conditions could result in
frostbite for people, kill crops, livestock and pets left
outdoors, and significant damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...There is higher confidence for coldest
temperatures on Saturday morning. The coldest temperatures will be
experienced between midnight to 9 AM each morning. Localized
patchy fog can inhibit the colder temperatures.

Instructions

Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.

To prevent water pipes from freezing; wrap or drain or allow them to
drip slowly.
