The National Weather Service in Tucson has issued a
* Dust Storm Warning for...
Northeastern Cochise County in southeastern Arizona...
* Until 545 PM MST.
* At 453 PM MST, an area of blowing dust was approaching Interstate
10 near the New Mexico border, moving southwest at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Less than a quarter mile visibility.
SOURCE...Detected by National Weather Service meteorologists.
IMPACT...Dangerous life-threatening travel.
* Locations impacted include...
Bowie and San Simon.
This includes the following highways...
Route 191 between mile markers 89 and 91.
Interstate 10 between mile markers 353 and 391.
Instructions
Motorists should not drive into a dust storm. PULL ASIDE STAY ALIVE!
Dust storms lead to dangerous driving conditions with visibility
reduced to near zero. If driving, avoid dust storms if possible. If
caught in one, pull off the road, turn off your lights and keep your
foot off the brake.
